When integrating OpenX zones into your website, you better make sure that the sizes of your zones match those of the banners your advertisers want to have displayed on your site. Or you will not be making any money at all.

OpenX comes with most of the Interactive Advertising Bureau‘s standard formats predefined. The only one missing is the Half Page Ad (300 x 600 pixels).

The banners Google is offering through their AdSense system also comply to the IAB’s formats. However, in the near future, new formats will be approved by the IAB. As you can see in their style guides, most are more complex, more interactive ads, requiring special interface widgets in your website design.
